The beginning of the day. The light, the autumn, the depth: Saguru writes songs that hold great width. Songs that are melancholically dark, but also always contain a sense of departure, a view, clarity and lightness. The moment after the rain. Chris Rappel from Munich, Germany founded Saguru in 2016, was inspired by heroes like Alex Turner, Bon Iver and Ben Howard and released his first songs. Just 25 years old, Saguru now finds the core of its own sound. A voice that radiates many more years of life than Rappel counts. The precisely carved and colorful sound of the recordings, the combination of guitar, shining vocals and soft yet powerful electronica: all this makes Saguru a gem, a treasure chest. Breaking routines, learning to deal with growing alienation, weightless moods, the vastness, running as escape: themes and images of Saguru. Themes and images with urgency. The beginning of the day.
